This is one of the section of my web where you can find all kinds of nice tib-bits of information about Key West. You will find information about our beaches, some events and some of the off the beaten track places that you may not find on your own. I am trying to add as much information in this section as time will allow and keep it updated things are always changing down here in Key West from one year to the next. I myself have always like finding destination web sites that give me this kind of look around so I hope you enjoy yourselves. One word of caution I have met a lot of the people who have been on my web when they come down. Quite often I here spouse complain that their other half spent hours surfing my site staying up all night. So relax and enjoy yourself.
By far One of the biggest attractions on the island is the buoy at the corner of South St. and Whitehead that claims to be the southernmost point the contiguous 48 states. It would seem every building nearby lays claim to "southernmost this or that" The claim is not quite accurate. Land on the Truman Annex property just west of the Key West landmark is actually slightly farther south but it has no marker since it is U.S. Navy land and cannot be entered by civilian tourists.
