Now you are standing at the Greene St. entrance of the Key West Historical
Seaport. The Plaza at the corner Greene and Elizabeth is dedicated to.
Norberg Thompson 1884 - 1951
Former Mayor of Key West
Never heard him brag
He Epitomized
"Greatness has a soft voice"

A nice little bit of information that you may be interested in is this plain
white building on the boardwalk. Now I have been working across the lane
from this building for years. We always keep its true function low key as
requested by the occupants. But what the heck being you found your way
here and you promise not to mention this to anyone. Come on now promise.
This is Jimmy Buffet's recording studio, "Shrimp Boat Sound". I won't bore
you with all the antidotes about the going on surrounding this landmark. If I
did I might find myself in a bit of a jam with certain people. Lets just say
that after meeting Jimmy on several occasions and helping out his staff
whenever needed. You will never meet a bunch of better people anywhere.
