a total of 198 guns that a lot
of fire power.

What you see now is just a small glimpse of what the fort looked like during it hay day.
It was then three stories high now only one. With cannons on all three. From what I have
been told the Navy took off the top two stories during World War II so they could mount
radar on it, and the top stories where too unstable to support it.
