Is located about 2 miles southwest of Molasses Reef. Here to you
will find your share of wrecks both old and new. Pickles Reef
offers the underwater photographer a great variety of sea fans
and small sea creatures to add to your collection of underwater
photos. On the north end of Pickles Reef you will find colonies
of huge Pillar Coral. They reach up 6-10 feet for the surface.
This is one of the unusual ones unlike most that feed at night
Pillar Coral feeds during the day. If you pay close attention you
will notice that storms in the past have broken off the pillars and
from the pieces laying on the bottom they started reaching for
surface again, may years ago.
