Key West Scuba Diving
NAUI Technical EANx Diver
This course is to provide the Oxygen Enriched Air Diver with the skills and knowledge needed to minimize the risks of utilizing optimal oxygen enriched air mixtures of EAN25 to EAN80 for dives to a depth of 150fsw (46 msw) not requiring stage decompression. This course may be taken in conjunction with Decompression Techniques Diver Course or the Mixed Gas Blender Course.
Required text for this course is the NAUI Technical Nitrox, Decompression Techniques and Extended Range. Also helpful are TDI's Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures Manuals.

A. Classroom hours - 8 to 12 |
B. NAUI Nitrox Diver Certification and Deep Diver or their equivalents. Also, NAUI Advanced Diver certification is highly recommended prior to taking this course. Proof of 50 logged dived with 10 dives on EANx. |
B. 4 Nitrox dives. Student divers must demonstrate use of a reel, lift bag, stage bottle and participate in an emergency gas supply loss scenario and rescue simulation of a diver experiencing underwater convultions. |
C. Can be taken during the NAUI Mixed Gas Blender Course.
