NAUI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver
NAUI Nitrox is a comprehensive course that focuses on the practical information a diver needs to know to use oxygen enriched air. The NAUI Guide to Oxygen Enriched Air Kit is required for this course. Additional texts that may be helpful include TDI's Nitrox and Advanced Nitrox manuals.
COURSE OBJECTIVES The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards, and proper procedures for using nitrox mixes from 22% to 40% oxygen content.
QUALIFICATIONS OF GRADUATES Upon successful completion of the course graduates are considered competent to utilize Oxygen Enriched Air in open water diving activities, provided the diving activities and the areas dived approximate those of training.

STUDENT PRE-REQUISITES
A. Minimum age 15
B. NAUI Scuba Diver Certification or equivalent.
C. Can be taken during the NAUI Scuba Diver Course. (Add one day to course)
REQUIRED COURSE MINIMUMS
A. Classroom hours - 8
B. 2 Nitrox dives, one being a repetitive dive.
