The Howard Johnson Resort is a tourist class hotel located at mile marker 102 in Key Largo. The hotel is only 500 yards from the famous John Pennycamp Underwater Coral Reef. Guests can snorkel and fish directly from the hotel, which has a private sandy beach. A beachside Tiki Bar serves a variety of beverages. The hotel also has an onsite restaurant, which offers a breakfast buffet. Limited room service is available.

The guest rooms are outfitted with one king size bed or two double size beds and either a private balcony or patio that opens directly onto the pool and beach areas, or onto the surrounding tropical gardens. Outdoors you are surrounded by a variety of activities, such as watersports, basketball and nature activities. The hotel staff is always available to assist guests with any needs that they may have. For those of you who may be visiting Key West for the first time you may want to keep in mind that the island is
rather small a little less than 2 x 4 miles. This means there that you are never far form everything Shopping, Beaches, Restaurants and the Key West Night Life. If you drove in you will find parking can be the only real pain if you are coming downtown but there are plenty of pay parking lots in the downtown area. If you did not drive nothing is more than a 10 or 15 minute Cab drive. Please note that the bars in Key West do not close until 4am so please drink responsibly.
